]]> http://d-kidd.com/development/hosting-provider/feed/ 0 WordPress & PhpGedView http://d-kidd.com/development/wordpress-phpgedview/ http://d-kidd.com/development/wordpress-phpgedview/#comments Thu, 20 Nov 2008 03:46:46 +0000 DKidd http://d-kidd.com/?p=17 I am slowly working on this module to allow wordpress and phpgedview, which is the genealogy software that I use on my sites, to be linked together.  I met this guy online who has been working with me on the process.  The plugin is going to be called WPPGV, but we keep having problems with the code because both WordPress and PhpGedview have a php method that is named the same.  The biggest problem that I see is that the one is wordpress is deprecated, so I am tring to determine how to turn off that procedure that is deprecated.  Any one have any ideas.

I know that I could go in a modify the code, but I don’t want to do that.  i mean, how could I do it without modifying the WordPress code?  Any ideas?
